Talking to yourself is normal – right? We have little conversations in our heads every day when deciding what to wear, what to eat for lunch, or how late to stay up. It may not seem like an actual conversation, but it sort of is, kinda, hmm, maybe not. But sometimes you hear people talking to themselves out loud, in public!

Usually quite funny – or perhaps disturbing. The video shows a bird talking to himself – or to anyone who will listen and boy it was an enjoyable 2 minutes and 40 seconds! Disco, the parakeet, has quite a vocabulary and also has a lot to say. I am not sure exactly what his point was, but that is okay!

Often it sounds like he was reciting some lyrics from a Jason Derulo song saying, “talk birdy to me.” Here goes “squeak, tweet tweet, squawk” hope it’s not too obvious I don’t know how to ‘talk birdy!” Share away, people!
