Did you know that the tail of a peacock is called a “train” and that only the male has the brightly colored feathers? The train of some peacocks can grow to be six feet long! This video captures a male peacock on the porch with some cats. Well, one cat and two kittens. The first kitten’s reaction is hilarious; ‘attacking’ first the feathers of the visitor.

Such bravado for such a little feline to go up against the much, much larger peacock! Those kittens sure give him a run for his money! The older, more mature, cat is probably thinking, “whatever, it’s bird, big deal.” That peacock will think twice about coming on this porch again!

But, it does make you wonder, though… some scientists believe that male peacocks often will spread their tail feathers out to impress the ladies – so, who in the video was this guy trying to impress!? Share away, people!
