First, it was the story about Harambe, the gorilla, being killed because a boy fell in his enclosure. Then we saw images of the lion in Japan running toward a small child on the other side of the glass. Now it is a white tiger and an adult female.
He is clearly stalking this woman, the person taking the video sees him coming, she seems to know he is coming and yet they sit there and laugh and continue to allow this to happen. And BOOM, he smacks into the glass. Forgive me that is NOT funny. Those animals are not there for us to make fun of or to taunt – they are beautiful creatures that deserve respect.
Does someone have to be killed before we realize that these animals are really, really dangerous? Many of the animals at the zoo consider humans prey. I hope the tiger and the lion were not seriously hurt. Share away, people.
