Animal rescue workers get called to pick up hurt or abandoned animals. They may not know exactly what kind of situation they are going to be in once they locate the animal. Sometimes, the animal isn’t easy to catch! Other times, they find an animal in awful shape, injuries, and wounds that are old and infected.

Some animals don’t make it, they didn’t get rescued in time. Micah is one of the lucky ones, but he was in terrible shape when he was brought in to Vet Ranch. He had heartworms, cuts and infections in his ear, and ligament damage in his back leg. All from a bad mauling by other dogs. He was such a good patient!

He must have known they were trying to help him! His recovery is amazing. Such a will to live and he was a fighter! Good boy Micah! Well done Vet Ranch! Share away, people!
