This Summer, Be On The Lookout For A Weed That Is Deadly To Dogs
As pet owners, we are aware of the some of the dangers that our pets face indoors. We know not to feed them chocolate, or onions, or coffee. The lids from a used can could cut your pets’ tongue. Some human medications and house plants can also hurt or even kill your pets.
In the garage, antifreeze poses a danger because it has a sweet taste that is attractive to pets. Out in the yard, any chemicals you treated your yard with may get your pet’s fur or feet. They could become poisoned when they try to lick it off. When we take our dogs out to ‘play’, it may be tempting to let them run free in a field of tall grass!
